Passivation

Passivation process includes degreasing and passivation. It uses alkaline to remove the oil and grease, and then uses nitric acid to remove surface contamination, such as particles of iron-containing dirt and active iron particles from machining tools that can form rust or act as initiation sites for corrosion. The benefit is that it maximizes the natural corrosion resistance of the stainless steel. We can process both hard disk drive components and electronic components.
