Unisteel invented Uni-Lube®, a proprietary, customised polymer coating developed as an alternative CLEAN solution to Ni-PTFE coatings.

Uni-Lube® is 100% PTFE free, it prevents erosion of hard particles, reduces friction , reduces galling effects, improves torque scatter and removal reliability and most importantly, is an application with extremely low implementation cost.

Test conducted by independent test labs concluded that :

• Uni-Lube® coated fasteners provides approximately 72% more clamp load due to reduce K-Factor as compared to Ni-PTFE coated fasteners.
• Uni-Lube® coated fasteners yields approximately 12.1 times lower particle count compared to Ni-PTFE coated fasteners.
